FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: Extremely unlikely for canon punctures to come up, but if they do somehow that’s fine, just check with me OOC about what info it would be. Everything else - she doesn’t have a faceclaim & she’s an original character from a homebrew tabletop campaign, I don’t think it really applies to her.

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
CURRENT CANON POINT: Post-canon, the year 2000
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Adamantea is a young fat woman who could be anywhere from sixteen to a baby-faced twenty-two, standing at 5’2”; exactly where in that range she looks to any given character is perception-based, depending on how old they subconsciously assume she is. She has medium brown skin, pale blue eyes, long dark brown wavy hair, and is of mixed South Asian and Black (...and Hispanic) descent. She’s always wearing jewelry with crystals in it and always has living flowers blooming in her hair. She tends to dress in a comfortable manner, often incorporating pastels.

The most notable thing about Adamantea is that she is crystalline; her irises refract light like crystals might, her nails are diamond (or amethyst, or emerald, or…), and on her chest - over her heart - is glimmering crystal (sometimes diamond-white, sometimes prism-iridescent) that breaks from beneath the skin. This extends throughout her entire body internally, with similar pieces of crystal externally scattered across her skin in a few spots; when she channels particular amounts of power, her veins are crystalline and iridescent.

She smells faintly floral, usually corresponding to whatever flowers are in her hair, but not always.

Her accent is very faintly whatever accent you subconsciously expect it to be, even if you’re listening to a recording. She sounds like a Disney princess Auli'i Cravalho.
DEMEANOR: “O brave new world, that has such people in't! Oh, it's wonderful! Look how many beautiful creatures there are here!”
Adamantea is unassuming and polite, and can even often come off as shy at first glance; a lot of her current mien is drawn from the human girl she once was, and she was A Nice Girl! She’s not a pushover and will firmly - but politely - stand her ground if pushed. She genuinely enjoys the beauty and variety of the Barge and of things new to her and would very much like it if things were low-stress and cooperative all the time. It helps her keep acting as this facet of herself.

She is also a ten thousand year old god and a fundamental aspect of reality, so no matter how human she comes off, there’s something that’s always there.
ABILITIES: Full rundown of her magic is here. Tl;dr:
• god of minds and feelings (& consciousness, cognition, thought, dreams, emotions, memories, etc.), part of the underlying mechanics of reality that shape and influence those things: think telepathy, reading thoughts, altering / creating / removing memories and emotions, detect lies, mind control, enhance others’ cognition, dreamwalk. Doing mind stuff isn’t even her doing magic, really, she can.. she can just kind of do that.
• proficient with shaping and manipulating raw magic
• powerful healing magic
• can transmute or alter living things
• can do protective / healing / restorative / creative magic easily; for anything with that isn’t those, needs to be in the right mood / frame of mind
• much stronger than her body has any right to be
As an Ascendant Archmage of Mind, Adamantea is restraining herself from her more invasive perceptions (& restrained by the Admiral) but still passively senses the surface thoughts & feelings of the rest of the ship. This is basically background noise for her and she’s not actively paying attention to it, but she does sense; thinking about her / thinking her name loudly enough is like poking her in the shoulder and draws her conscious focus.

She has a more extensive opt-out / opt-in section for her mental powers.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Physical body will not die if she doesn’t want it to, don’t worry about it. Blood is… glittery (not needed at all for existence, she just has it because reality generally agrees ‘living human-shaped things with flesh also have blood’). Her flesh is also extraneous: 80% of her internal structure is crystalline matter, and she’s not human anymore anyway, so if you blast a hole in her she’ll mostly just be very annoyed with you. Very rude!! Also, ow.
She doesn’t need to sleep, though she finds it pleasant sometimes; if she needs to rest she usually just trances.
CABIN INFORMATION: Cabin 2-12. The external door is a brown wooden door from a suburban 1990s condo, though a large portion of the center has been replaced with a pane of quartz crystal resembling frosted glass, impossible to see through; at the edges of the panel it seems to be growing into the wood, with small clusters of crystals.
There’s a suite of rooms inside. First is a living room / central area with a suite of beanbag chairs and comfortable chairs, which contains a bead curtain of opals and glittering crystal flowers that leads into a two-story faerie forest atrium (with a similar overall look to the exterior here); the grass is soft, the wood is smooth, a pond exists of small clear water, and ethereal crystal insects and sprites flutter around; the sky is a plane of faceted crystal that feigns a day/night cycle. At night, the walkways are luminescent and much of the plantlife develops its own light. Doors in here lead to:
• bedrooms
• bathrooms
• a workshop
• literally just a tiny greenhouse the size of a bathroom that only holds nightshade flowers
• there are other rooms but I don’t feel like thinking them up now

Which doors lead to which rooms changes sometimes. Don’t worry about it.

The atrium has an opalescent wood door tucked in the back that leads to an otherworldly crystalline sanctum within an endless fairytale woods: this is Adamantea’s demesne, a dream realm tethered to her and under her control. The door will only open for her, but she can bring anyone she wants inside.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Nonconsensual dehumanization, especially when it involves removal of agency.

IC PERMISSIONS:
MENTAL: You can try. She’ll know. She’s part of the underlying mechanics of reality that deal with this kind of thing. (Which is to say: let’s talk OOC so we can figure out what’ll happen!)
MIMICRY: Sure!
VIOLENCE: She’d prefer not to, but sure. Physical damage - regardless of severity - cannot meaningfully harm her, only spiritual damage.
MAGIC: Sure! Let’s get weird with it.
DEBATE: Sure!
OTHER / NOTES: More invasive mind magic (altering/creating/removing emotions, reading deeper thoughts, mind control, memory alteration, etc.) will only be used with OOC check-in. Please let me know if she should use / should specifically not use any particular types of magic in a given situation.
She is a walking manifestation of a time paradox who ended up becoming a real girl, and then a god, so to anyone who might sense timeline nonsense she’s a beacon.
